Not this time. We saw him a few years ago at ADNEC, just before his 70th birthday, and it was so good that Mr Meow won't go again in case this show doesn't measure up. I've seen him on previous occasions too and he's always been superb.

A top turn (as they say up North).

That's what I was hoping, small venue here so should be excellent. I even washed a couple of pairs of boxer shorts to chuck at him.

The wife and I are thinking of getting tickets for Thursday night's concert here at the Du Forum in Abu Dhabi.

I realise this sounds lame, but does anyone have any idea as to what time it's likely to finish? Yes, it'll be way past my bedtime, but also we need to get a babysitter and want to try and get an idea as to when we're likely to be home?

Maybe if anyone goes to tonight's gig in Doha they could give me an idea as to when he came on and how long he played for?

So BE76, how was it last night and how long did the show go on for? Is it worth getting tickets for tomorrow's show here in Abu Dhabi?

Get tickets, it was great. He did some new stuff which was good and did all his biggest hits. He got on about 2145 and finished about 2345 but we did have a 20 minute power cut!

Cannot believe he is 73, I would be happy to look like that at 53.........
