A Simple Maths Puzzle
Our 8yr old daughter wanted to buy a book for Dhs97 so mummy loaned her Dhs50 and daddy loaned her Dhs50. She went ahead and bought the book for Dhs97 and, with the Dhs3 change, she gave Dhs1 back to mummy and Dhs1 back to daddy, leaving her with Dhs1 to spend on sweets. She now owes mummy and daddy Dhs49 each (totalling Dhs98) plus her Dhs1 makes Dhs99. So what happened to the other Dhs1 from the Dhs100 originally borrowed?

Re: A Simple Maths Puzzle
and she spent the extra 1 aed on sweets.
97 by 2 = 48.50
+ 1 to each parent = 49.50
x 2= 99
+ 1 aed on sweets (which won't rot your teeth as thats not even a coca cola bottle)
