Default Silver Shadow

Seen some poor expat go right down the side of a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow (2 digit plate no) yesterday in his saloon car, everyone was ok but can imagine what he was thinking as they got out the car!

Hmmm... Shipping it back to the UK alone will cost a fortune for the poor "guilty" party. RR won't honor the guarantee if third parties repair the car. That's going to hurt mega if the insurance doesn't cover it.

Well remember the letter I got when I started doing the maintenance myself on my (ex) hobby on wheels. It's no fouling around with this brand.

But driving a car around like that one in the UAE? I don't think the owner really cares a lot. Your writing it off ten times faster then anywhere else in the world.

I can tell you that the guy driving the Roller was not happy at all, but cannot help feeling I need to watch myself!

I was behind the car that hit this roller yeterday, 2 weeks ago I was in front of a bus that was on the inner lane that hit a bridge on SZR near intersection 2, and again last week a car took 6 parked cars out on a slip rd into one of the car parks at JBR, is someone trying to tell me something.

Buy a Saab or Volvo (Although apparently Renaults are good at folding to conform to concrete blocks as well) and check your insurance!

The owner certainly cared about his car it was immaculate and it was not his fault.

In traffic this morning I gave way to a gorgeous woman in a car to go in my lane ahead of me and she looked at me and smiled...
I think she likes me...
