Looks like a pretty bright future awaits with an Egyptian leading the way, I must confirm my Scottish heritage and see if I can get a new passport to riches.

Is he taking the p*ss or something?

Firstly, twas a Scot monarch who started the whole British Union thing anyway...second, don't you have to have some Scottish family to be a Scot somewhere even if it's a few generations ago? I know that for the Irish you can only be considered Irish (get citizenship) if a parent or grandparent was Irish.

Could be worse, we could have Rod Stewart

Al Fayed is a complete joke. Attention seeker of the highest order and if thats the kind of man who wants to associate himself with Independence then I am grateful. He will make the majority of people who vote for a unionist party in Scotland happier to see clowns like him shouting for separation.

Aye so true bin in his big hoose at Balnagown Estate up near Tain, mate was one of his security guards and took me round one night, got to see it to belive it! Where the monies came from I have no idea.

Right bar steward to work for, mate was driving his lordship around the estate and he got out the landie, mate had left it running to keep it warm for the wee git, his lordship walked round the back of it and got a wiff of diesel fumes, sacked on the spot!

Horrible creature in all aspects, just type in a search for balnagown estate holiday cottages and all who want to meet the man book now!

But the only true unionist party in Scotland is the Tories, and we all know how well they are loved in God's country.....

Actually labour and the lib dems are both unionist parties (although they both supported devolution, they dont believe in breaking up the UK) So if you tally up the seats in scotland by Labour, Lib Dems and the Tories then it is overwhelmingly Unionist parties

The only separatist paries are the snp and scottish socialists (who i think have lost all their seats now in the SP)
