Don't be silly, where else would you display your ceramic flying ducks and Crying Clown painting than in the lounge?

And if we are on silly season stories, I think this qualifies. Mr Meow and I have been viewing villas this afternoon. One agent asked us if we'd be interested in buying a tiger. This particular place had a very large garden, so "plenty of space for it".

Starter of prawn and avocado followed by steak Diane. Dead posh, see?

I hate to ask, but could the villa 'come' with said tiger?
Also, isn't Steak Diane a little 70s?
I suppose you'd have enough fodder for Sher Khan, though I'm told he won't touch avocado.

Supreme Driving on SZR
I don't know if you guys have seen this new 'trend' or not, but it seems to suit the thread topic so here goes:
1) Roughly 3 weeks ago I was tailed on the SZR coming back from AD to DB and in my rear view mirror I saw someone driving with metallic sun blinds erected in their front windscreen. No kidding.
2) I re-told the story to a colleague the following day who immediately called me a ****ing lier.
3) Last week he called me over, apologised and then proceeded to show me this picture.
Has anyone else seen this new 'trend'?
Is it new?
I was disturbed, this is after having declared that nothing would surprise me anymore...
Comments & explanations please.

Re: Silly season stories
the roller blinds offer way more protection from heat than any normal film coating.
Actually that's not correct. You can buy film coatings in varying degrees of opaqueness, many of which are too opaque to be legal ( I can't remember the legal limit).
If you are caught with a coating that's too dark, you could get your car confiscated. So the roller blind enables you to drive with the minimum opacity, and then you can just take it off when your annual vehicle registration date comes up.
As for the patrols on the roads during the rest of the year, don't worry: the roller blind is invisible, being in the Nissan Patrol/ Toyota Land Cruiser Invisibility Zone.

Re: Silly season stories
Eh, lounge, loo etc.... what the *****!
Who cares what people call a room?
Personally I would call it a lounge, and have a separate living room.... and a snug.
