Showtime/Orbit

It seems if you want premiership football this year on tv it will be more expensive, just a week after Showtime lost its license to show Premiership football they have merged with Orbit. It seems that a new updated discounted package will be offered to all existing Showtime and Orbit customers on Aug 1st or you have the choice to stay with your existing packages. as if it doesn't cost enough already!

hmmmm

'Existing Orbit and Showtime subscribers will have the option to sign up for special upgrade offers or retain their subscription packages at their current prices.'

Showtime is ok to be honest but without the football I wouldn't have it.

So will I get extra channels or have to pay for them? Will I still get the footy now its on Orbit? Will that TWAT McCaffrey be off my tv screen now??

We will need to wait and see but I also would not have showtime without the premiership, its my gues if yopu have showtime and want the premiership of Orbit you will nee to pay more, if you already have Orbit and want the premiership you will also need to pay more but if you have either and dont want the premiership it will be as it is!

You guys need to find somebody who hacks smart cards..I used to until DirecTV hauled me into federal court. They raided the people that sold the (illegal, I did'nt know a little circuit board could be illegal) hacking equipment online and got my credit card information. It was a civil case and they wanted $100,000 from me. Right before Christmas too. I showed up in court without a lawyer and got off due to the fact that the equipment I had in my possesion could be used to hack every kind of smart card. I said I had it to hack phone cards, not DirecTV and since I could'nt be linked to any modified card I only suffered a few worrisome months before court. But anyway for $100 dollars you should be able to get a card that unlocks everything, porn, sports, every pay per view movie and event, everything. And never pay a TV bill again.

If you are currently on Showtime you can get a few extra channels for free until August 17th. They include Super Movies and America Plus etc.

So in order to get them you will need to scan for new channels. Hopefully this is how its done (although I have a Coship box but it should be similar for others).

Press Menu
Select Advanced Options
Select Dish Installation
Pin Code should be 9949 (it is on most Showtime boxes)
Then select Scan All Networks

Hey presto after a few minutes you should get your new channels.

Curb Your Enthusiasm is on Super Comedy at the moment :D

Oh and the Premiership is on Showtime until next May, AD Sport have the rights for 2010/11 season as far as I am aware.

Champions League is on Al Jazeera Sport this year though instead of ART.

Seems like there will be no choice in the matter in order to watch the sport
