while I can't generalise, most of the gay men I have met have not been nice people and tended to talk about their gayness as if it was a badge to be worn..

You know, I think I can relate to Bison on this one. I mean you know the gay parades they have sometimes? What's that about? I mean is it really necessary? Ok you're gay do you need to throw it on people's faces? I honestly don't see a heterosexual parade ever been done.
I think a lot of them are hypocrites. They ask for a normal life but then they have some privileges more than normal people. It's just like women when they asked for independence but at the end you still pay for dinner and open the door for the lady. It's a strange world we live in

They are trying to celebrate it as people like Bison want to lock them away in a dark cupboard somewhere, they are proud of what they are and are having fun, they are a minority as well so try and do things as a group,

And don't tell me that minorities don't get some favors in the court of law. If a gay employee got fired he can sue his boss for discrimination even if he sucks at his/her job. They want to be treated equally but at the same time differently.
