Shopping in New Yoik
Hi all,
When I was in the Uk and went to New Yoik, I was always told you were allowed to buy 300 US$ worth of shopping, then you should ditch your receipts and cut out all labels to avoid paying tax or something? Anyone know what I'm on about and what the allowances are if your live in Dubai?

On my trips to NY I have always ended up buying loads of stuff and have never been asked any questions on returning to the UAE.
I am not much of a shopper but there are so many bargains there and I love the city, so I am quite jealous of you now!
