Re: Shaven Heads
Interesting thread question............
None of the replies explain why most men in bars in London are NOT shaven-headed, but many in Dubai bars are.
Do people automatically equate 'looks' with 'personality' and 'attitude' these days? When I was in my twenties, the shaven-headed look meant one thing...
"I'm hard, and I'll deck the first wanker that says I'm not........"
Still the case? Surely not?

Re: Shaven Heads
it's nothing to do with being hard...the days of the comb-over are long gone, thank god, and a shaven head is acceptable and, as i already said, sexy...

Re: Shaven Heads
- They are going bald and don't want a comb-over
- They can't remember where they are from when they've had 16 pints
- They want to be David Beckham (?)
- Short, paunchy guys seem to like this look
Perhaps they are lemmings............??
Why do women like high heeled shoes, blonde streaks and red toenails.....generally??

Yup, every now and again, I revert back to shaved head, its so easy to keep! I think in a year or two, its going to be a permanent style, due to also going thin on top!
Mrs Bantam also prefers me to have stubble, and as Spugsy experienced with his missus, mine also wanted me to have stubble on our wedding day, but I went for the clean shaven look.
That pic of Ed Norton....just to point out that was from American History X, a film in which he played quite a nasty racist character. Excellent film, very powerful, sad ending though. One of my fave actors. Fight Club anyone?

Re: Shaven Heads
You are a fan of comb overs then?
A shaven head can look cool, just ask this guy:

Re: Shaven Heads
Delicious...........! By the way - not all shaven headed guys speak Cockney or Scouse and I would point out that a lot of people would mistake a London accent for Cockney, so need to be careful about generalising.

Re: Shaven Heads
Why is shaven headed an issue? My hubby has a skin-head and I assure you he's sometimes nice!
There again, his reasoning behind it was that at 22 he already had a Phil Collins hairline and what hair remained was ginger, so being a skinhead is the lesser of two evils...
