I've been to Seaworld in San Diego.
I've been to Dubai Dolphinarium.
I have encountered dolphins and whale sharks whilst scuba diving in the gulf..
I even swam with dolphins in a murky closed off canal in Cuba of all places.

I wouldn't call myself a huge fan of putting animals on display in enclosures to be honest. In fact I would probably say that as a rule I am against it, but I don't get all stressed about it. And I don't think it is the worst thing happening in the world, there are other more pressing matters we should be focusing on.

One thing I have always wondered is what do all you guys who are 'genuinely' offended by these sort of places do for food? You definitely shouldn't eat meat considering how ridiculously awful most abattoirs are. Eggs? Very little free range in these parts unfortunately. Dairy? Those poor industrial cows suffer a lot! Vegetables? Well the big commercial farming operations generally mistreat their workers (even in Europe) so surely that's not great either..

Oh. Just in case you really want to know. Seaworld have apparently signed to open in Yas (and I am pretty sure the info is accurate)...
