Still might not work. Was discussing this last week with a techie colleague and he reckons you'd need a dedicated splitter thingy, at a couple of hundred dollars (which is what he uses). However I then went exploring on Google and EBay and it seems you can now do it with a USB cable + something for around a tenner. Sorry, but that's about as specific as I can get.

I had to give them back some of their money the other night, but still up. Just joined the Mazagan Royal Golf Club which is a nice diversion. Lovely course.

I think its a good idea to get that DVI convertor although myself I am not a huge fan of the conversion theory. What I am saying is if your monitor has got a DVI port and the dock has a DVI port as well then just get a standard DVI to DVI cable if the vga to DVI connector does not work

To do this you'll probably need a dual head graphics card or something similar, which is not going to fit into your laptop.

35bucks on amazon is a splitter thing that reckons you won't need to change graphics card / add another etc.
