Re: Scotland v England
Any predictions?
Can't see it being to entertaining although I may head out to watch it. Thinking 2-0 England. Thinking it will be a pretty tame affair as it's so close to the start of the season and only a friendly.
I bet Scott 'I'm a Wanker' Brown feels like a bit of an idiot after bigging up Scotland's and slagging off England's youngsters after the mauling they got last night.

My heart is with Scotland but Ladbrokes indicate that is not a likely result. A metaphor for September 2014 ?

Battling draw, 0-0 or 1-1. Means next to nothing for the English players, but the Scots will be up for it. Plus, the players based in Scotland (the few who might start at least!) are a couple of weeks into the new season so should be a little sharper.
Tartan army of 20,000+ travelling down for the game apparently, should be a bit of banter in London today.

“The broadcast of the 2013/2014 English Premier League (starting August 17) is moving channels, from AD Sports to Al Jazeera Sports.
As an AD Sports subscriber, you have the choice to activate Al Jazeera Sports +1 to +10 & HD to watch the league. You can also choose to cancel your AD Sports subscription.
Simply fill out the form, and we´ll process your request.*”
There was a click through to an online form to select what you wanted and get the process underway. Now let's see if it's up and running properly by Saturday...

Talking of Scotland............... what happened? This was the squad Fergie selected for the Mexico World Cup in 1986 - he could even afford to leave out Alan Hansen. How many of today's lot would have got into this squad?

The misses was quoted Dhs639 or thereabouts for the EPL package even though we are Al Jaz subscribers. I've decided not to bother and watch all the matches down the boozer instead. Better for domestic harmony too. As for the game tonight, I don't give a hamster's fart who wins. Such a silly time to play a friendly.
