We called Deanlet Perry as it was an unusual name and we didn't know any others (plus we liked the name).........
........... then, about six months later, Harry Enfield and Kathy Burke introduced the world to their 'Kevin and Perry' characters.
He didn't get any stick - but we did..............

My name is only 3 letters as well and it tends to get extended by others because it can't be abbreviated!

What's people's shout on middle names? I've got a very middle class two, thinking it compensates for a one syllable Scottish surname...

Re: Scamp does not 'Like' this
I know quite a few people who go by their middle names.
My kids have two (its the multicultural bit).
My wife has none.
I know one German whose middle name is the same as the first name of a rather famous Chancellor of that country--so, presumably, its not possible under German law to formally change your name. Unless there's some other reason...
Is the giving of two names of Christian origin? Not that I'm an expert, but the only Asian country I know of that does it is the Phillipines. Others, such as India and many in the Middle East, use family names as middle names.

Apparently Wayne Rooney's son is called Kai and it's pretty much a made up name, like a lot of the daft names you hear these days.
