Has she been arrested yet? Incidentally I was under the impression that a change was being announced "later this year" or was that simply rhetoric? The idea that it's still illegal for an unaccompanied woman to flag down a taxi in KSA continues to amaze me.

That's a law that has some sense - but from the other perspective.....

There were a number of incidents of women travelling alone in taxis and the drivers trying to persuade them that it would be cheaper if they paid their fare 'in kind'......... the wife of one of my mates actually jumped out of a moving taxi to get away from one such driver.
