To be fair the people who believe in such fairy tales aren’t usually renowned for their level headed analysis of criticism at the best of times, especially loudest of them who preach but usually refuse to engage in a free and fair debate. Pandering to these specialist needs should be avoided in my opinion because it sets a precedent that somehow religion has a special place within societies that is beyond reproach or even being joked about between friends. Like most people I don’t object to people believing in their deity but when it impacts on the lives of others in a negative way it does become objectionable.
