Saudi Security Clampdown
 

Anyone else in Saudi / Riyadh notice a clampdown on security?

THe compound where we live have recently:

- Asked for a full list of everyone in each house, including copies of Iqama, telephone number, nationality, email address etc etc - all the data to be provided to the local police station.

- No more public taxi's to be allowed onto the compound - no exceptions.

- All resident ID cards must be shown upon entry to the compound.

- Higher numbers of armed guards on security entrance?
