Saudi might behead Asian woman suspected of withcraft.
A Sri Lankan woman could face the death penalty by beheading after she was arrested on suspicion of casting a spell on a 13-year-old girl during a family shopping trip, a police spokesman said on Wednesday. The daily Okaz reported that a Saudi man had complained his daughter had "suddenly started acting in an abnormal way, and that happened after she came close to the Sri Lankan woman" in a shopping mall in the port city of Jeddah

So why do we welcome these mothers to participate in the Olympics, especially when they wont' allow their women to participate. Be nice to see a taekwondo final between a Saudi and a Sri Lankan. Would be even better if the Sri Lankan was openly gay...

It's just mindbloggling that a comedic skit actually sums up Saudi Arabia pretty good.

Back in the early 80s in Abu Dhabi, the older Local women would wear a metal face shield/mask that covered the eyes, nose, mouth and part of the temple. My friend in grade school really thought they were witches, what with the all black dress.

Many of the older ladies still do. Best place to see them is in branches of Union CoOp.
