Get on a compound if you can
Make sure you both have multiple exit / re-entry visas if you can.
Nip over to Bahrain every so often via the causeway for some R+R and sanity.
If you can, get a driver - especilly if you are in a seperate villa as you will need to move around frequently to touch base with other ladies needing something to do and people to meet.
An alternative is to live in Bahrain and your husband travels over ever day. Lots of people do that. Not sure how the residencies work etc but it is do-able. This way you will never be bored as there are lots of things to do here, including driving yourself about which, believe me, is a luxury that you will miss in Saudi.
