I don't think that has changed much on BE, it's always the same stories as far as that's concerned, maybe it's a bit less cause people get bored with the same old same...
I was indeed talking more about the interaction between posters, which seems to be lacking these days...

nah...it's not even that as far as i am concerned...there's just no interaction at all, it doesn't even get to the 'bitching' stage...it all just dull dross, there is no chemistry between people, no sparks flying, no back and forth posts that make you sit behind your computer and really make you laugh...no witty posters, and a few that have a know it all attitude that makes me wanna spoon my eyes out with rusty implements...threads die on the same page cause there's no incentive to post on them, no one is making challenging posts anymore these day...
As MH says, it didnt help when many threads started dying on Page 1 or the topics werent fun or funny any more, and so I started to think whats the point of posting anything so I stopped and subsequently lost interest ....a shame really
and in a moment of weakness, I looked on here this evening, and still looks as dull as it has been for some time....lol

When i first arrived in Dubai over 2 years ago now, I enjoyed using BE, I had some laughs, enjoyed a wind up or winding others up, there was banter, teasing, flirting, sarcasm in equal measure, aswell as some informative stuff too....there were the odd 'meet ups' which gave you the opportunity to meet some of the people you 'cybered' every day.
As MH says, it didnt help when many threads started dying on Page 1 or the topics werent fun or funny any more, and so I started to think whats the point of posting anything so I stopped and subsequently lost interest ....a shame really
and in a moment of weakness, I looked on here this evening, and still looks as dull as it has been for some time....lol

Guess I can understand your view from the social side of things, however several of you have provided me with information and advice that led to me making a pretty damned important decision to come over here. So although the "banter might be gone", your helping plenty people out that do appreciate it.
And I still get a laugh with keeping up with your posts.
