Bluecat- I haven't got a clue! I assume SZR is used as its the easiest and quickest route which is why they currently use that route, so guessing this will add to the time taken to get to and from work. Guess i have no choice sono point dwelling on it- another scoop of shit in the bucket.

It's not the taxis, the drivers, or the company that pays it, but the passengers. Taxi fares have gone up over the past few years as it is. The RTA knows how often the taxis go through the Salik tolls so will be rubbing their hands.

Perhaps they would collect all the outstanding traffic fines instead of writing half of them off for people?

Aha meow- Yes I am a bit slow at the moment in general- see this is why we should read every thread- so not only are there no cabs anymore my cab journey has just either gone up in time or 25% in price. Or perhaps this will solve the lack of cab problem as noone will use them anymore...

I agree with you about the fines, but the Salik was inevitable. They will put it up on Al Khail Road once that is finished as well.
