and the saga finally ends....
.....today was Judgement Day.
Been waiting 6 months since my 'incident' with the police and now it's over. Got a call from my lawyers saying I need to pay damages of AED 4k for the van and a fine of AED 2k. I was expecting AED 20k or more so this is great news. And I'd like to thank all you lot who sent me supportive messages over the last 6 months, it's been a pretty stressful time. Need to get passport back now and pay overstay fine then get residency. Thanks again, Spugsy |

I think I missed this saga during my self imposed exile from the Bored, so don't know the ins and outs, but you sound well chuffed Spugs, glad you got a result you're happy with.
