Ryder Cup
As in which channel in UAE is showing it and who's your money on?
I cannot wait for it to start... I think it's going to be a cracker, both teams have players in form right now. It's going to be a hard call as to who takes ... So I'm going to sit on the fence ... I know there are a few bored members out there that are golf fans .... Any predictions? Anyone else out there not normally bothered but will show interest just because it's the Ryder Cup? |
Re: Ryder Cup
Its the only golf I watch on TV. Europe all the way.

Re: Ryder Cup
It's being shown on OSN Sports 1. Live coverage starts at 14:10 on Friday and Saturday, and 17:50 on Sunday, according to the listings on their website.
I think its going to be very close this year. Europe are a shade stronger as a team and probably in slightly better form. But, home advantage and the fact they've been able to set the course up they way they like it (I read that Love has had the rough kept to a minimum) will be worth a point or two for the septics. I have to admit I hate American Ryder Cup crowds with a passion, all the whooping, hollering and shouting ridiculous things like 'in the hole' when someone's just tee'd off at a 600 yard par 5 - muppets! My monies still on Europe to retain though, even if through a tie. |
Re: Ryder Cup
To close to call, so I won't even try.
Oh all right then.............. 15-13 USA. |
Re: Ryder Cup
There's finally a few players from else where in the world, there needs to be a Misc team for them all :D

OSN can kiss my fat hairy ring. *****. It's so expensive.
Might hunt it for free online somewhere. Europe to win by 1-3 points. Westwood to clean up. But hey, I know nothing. I went round the Els on Sunday in 113. |

The Presidents Cup covers that doesn't it, Rest of the World (less Europe) versus the USA.

But does anyone watch? Doesn't seem a big thing over here in comparison, because the US win it all the time...perhaps why it might be more fun if there were three teams at once.

Not quite all the time, but one sided anyway. They have won it every time it has been in North America. 2013 is scheduled to be held in the USofA aswell. |

Er, yes they do. Since 1994, it has been USA, USA, ROW, USA, TIE, USA, USA, USA, USA...
. carry on Head says the Septics. Heart says Europe. Not betting on the outcome. |
