It all rather smacks of a publicity stunt, although it could be something to do with his tour insurance.

I don't get why people should be pleased that he isn't coming. It's not as of buying a ticket or going to see any act is compulsory. I have zero interest in the majority of acts that come here, but it really makes no difference to my life in any way, so why should I care.

I thought this was Deja Vu too. His stand up is crap but he has made some good movies.

Yeah, and none of those paintings from before 1970 are any good either. And the books, those old books are nonsense. Don’t even get me started on the plays or the music…

I’m guessing you are under 25 years old?

Why did you enjoy it? I thought Paxman fried him. The Idiot could not substantiate one lousy claim or answer a simple question about what the revolution was or what the answer is. We can all swallow a thesaurus but bland proved himself to be an idiot in this one.

Exactly! Brand has never voted, by his own admission ( good cause to shut the 'F' up, I would have thought) and it is difficult to disagree with Paxo's comment that Bland is a trivial man.

Just because he didn't have the solutions doesn't mean he can't point out that things are wrong and need to be sorted. I thought Paxman was pwned!

But to me, stating what everyone already thinks isn't revolutionary...He's a very eloquent and interesting man, quick witted and flamboyant....but that doesn't make him less accountable for at least making actual suggestions.

I can go on a similar rant to him, maybe even funnier, maybe not, but at some point would have to answer the simple questions like "Well, what do you suggest?" "What do you think should change?" etc.

Funny, interesting to hear but only goes as far as to raise a point that governments are identical in many respects and it's simply; same shit, different toilet.
