There were ten tries altogether, but I'd say only one could not be put down to poor defending (missed tackles etc). I find it frustrating that SH audiences do not seem to want to see a contest between attack and defence in equal measure - that's what team sport is all about, surely?
............ and a fascinating contrast with what was served up at Twickenham earlier - also ten tries, but with some bone-crunching tackles thrown in for good measure.

[Note to one or two players today: late tackles are cheap and cowardly - late shoulder charges are unforgiveable, as they are designed to cause injury]

What a turnaround from the Quins.

Our left wing (Low, Louwe, can't remember right now) got torn to shreds unfortunately. A quicker, sharper defender there would have stopped a coupld of them.

Still. Fascinating game to watch with the correct outcome in the end.

George Lowe, a brilliant centre with England potential, but not a winger in a zillion years. The game obviously turned on Young deciding that the game was in the bag so it was safe to remove Haskell. Launchbury, a brilliant young second row, was moved to the back row where he looked hopeless, and the Quins back row collected the empties.........

Still not sure about the new regulations regarding the TMO. I supopose if it leads to more decisions being made correctly, it's OK but.........

I don't mind the new TMO ruling. Often stuff can be missed like the odd slight forward pass or a hand in a ruck somewhere in the build up to a point score.

We'll see. Maybe by end of season we'll be hating it.

Lowe. That was it, couldn't remember the correct spelling and was too hungover (at the time) to work out why I knew he didn't belong there.

See the Sarries v Irish score?
