I have a mate who has a couple of tickets available for tomorrows Long Lunch..

Never heard of it?? Its a guy equivalent of the DWC for crissakes.....!!!!

Put on your Sunday best, meat & 2 veg, copious amounts of beer and wine, couple of good speakers (ex-internationalists) and then thrown out at 6 to paint the town red...

I'm going to this but it doesn't say anything about code of dress on the tickets, do you know if its a suited do or casual?

Suited and booted. It would be a bit 'rum' to show up in jeans and T-Shirt, old boy....

Me too.. It goes straight over the chair when I sit at the table.. As you say, gotta remember to take it with you when you leave, which is why its handy to wait till they are forcing you out the door, they tend to make sure you take all your shit with you...

Whats it in aid of anyway, is it a charity do or just promoting rugby 7's, last out shouldn't be a problem I usually am

Bit of both, they raise money for a couple of charities, but its mainly to kick off the run-up to the 7's (as well as being a great excuse to take the afternoon off and get blasted!!)....
