Room 101 - Jobs

What jobs can the world live without?

I'm going to go for Bog-Wallah. While I accept the world needs cleaners (and something I am very appreciative of) - the bog-wallah does annoy me.

It is not necessary for a man to wait outside the cubical while you take a shit and then push past you as you leave so he can give it a second flush (and some unnecessary plunging).

Try and avoid the obvious... our issues with Scamp are well known.

I would love to know what places you go.

In 5 years, I have never had a toilet attendant be as thorough as you state.

Maybe its more to do with the straining sound you project as you clear your tract...

Investment Advisers / Financial Advisers / Pension Advisers / Banking Advisers

I don't know what they are called and this doesn't include Meow but those tossers who's phone number ends in 9779 that I know to ignore trying to sell me every single financial product under the sun that is going to be bollocks.

Also, the firm that rang me and started the conversation with:

Lady "When do you want your appointment?"
Scamp "What?"
Lady "Your appointment with Mr SomethingIndian"
Scamp "What?"
9779 COMPANY ARE PHONING ME AS I TYPE 04 321 9779
Lady "You have an appointment with Mr xyz to discuss financial assistance with investments, he is rated so highly........zzzzzzz"
Scamp "Thanks, bye"

Coach of the England football team.

Let's face it - it makes no difference. We will still win a few, then lose an important one, whether we have a coach or not. Gerrard, Parker and Barry have got enough brains between them to run things from mid-pitch.

99% of people in HR Departments. Biggest load of useless jobsworths you'll ever have the misfortune to meet.

Tea boy..or the tea boys tea boy as I had for awhile on site once. He mostly washed cars, but would make tea for the tea boy which was his real occupation.
