Only that it seems many more women are guilty of this behaviour than men. Though perhaps I should make the statement gender neutral (and transgender too while we're at it) and say all people who swerve along at 20km below the limit while typing on their mobile belong in Room 101.

I have no opinion on this....so I'll let you have it
Straight in.
Any cunty behaviour whilst driving a couple of tons of metal is worthy.

2-day hangovers.
They're straight in unless anyone objects for a genuinely fantastic reason.

Re: Room 101
I just find that now I'm getting older, if I go heavy on a Friday it kills my Sunday. There's no need for a hangover to last longer than a day, you've earned your punishment, you've taken it, you've got on with it. Don't drag it out....it's not fair.

Re: Room 101
Bit of a hangover Sat morning from spending Friday night at Cocktail Kitchen in JLT following some nice drinks at a mate's apartment.
Up at 6:20 AM to go for a 50km cycle in Al Qudra followed with breakfast at Bab al Shams.
Did the trick.
Seeing a herd of Desert Oryx trot across the dunes was neat too.

With the amount of MAMILS on here we should have a British Expats team!

I stopped going up there a while ago mate , some right professional wankpots on there man , it's unreal . I'm not a serious rider but can cut it if needed but like to mix my training up but i nearly banjoed a fella up there a few months ago for getting shall we say above his station. I'm sure he won't be speaking to anyone like that again.

Re: Room 101
VVIP convoys in the UAE.
Last night coming back from AD I'm in the fast lane averaging around 142-143km when I see in the distance behind me there's a couple police sirens flashing. Whoa, hope there isn't an accident. Immediately pull into the next lane to get out of the way (and slowing down to a reasonable 130ish).
Within seconds the sirens are almost level and I now see that in addition to the police cars there are half a dozen black unmarked Tahoes, all with sirens too. Clearly a VVIP convoy of some type. They're going quite fast, at least 160kmph.
But not only that, about half the black Tahoes (alternating with the other half) are actually about a meter into the next lane, literally nudging cars out of the way. This all happened so fast that I barely had time to move further to the right before they scraped past me by inches and I watch, gobsmacked, as they barrel past the cars ahead coming within inches too. It wasn't just kicking people out of the fast lane but they were pushing drivers out of the next lane in such a reckless manner (why not just take up two entire lanes at it, instead of driving so dangerously close, at such high speed, to cars that already thought they'd safely moved to the right?).
It was astonishing. I don't care who was being escorted but the potential for a major accident was too real. It was reckless and dangerous and without justification.
