HSBC. Was in there yesterday. Took a ticket. It said 12 mins expected waiting time. 90 mins later and still not seen. No one at the 'quick service counter' the whole time. Awful.

Office politics.

All week our office has had people huddling in siderooms to discuss things, conferring about things over emails with each other, going off to HR to complain/ask for advice... I have been staying well out of it all and (im)patiently waiting out the week.

Not exactly patiently.... and I didn't wait my turn rather went and complained to the manager. Still it was a lot longer than the 12 mins. I was 'working from home' tho so not particularly bothered about time.
