Re: Riyadh Bahrain bus
Are you seriously relying on the bus to get you to and from safely?
When your visa/job depends on it? |

When your visa/job depends on it? Having just arrived from deepest darkest bongo bongo land where the words servicing, roadworthy and drivers licence don't exist. I appreciate your words of warning & will continue flying. |

SAPTCO
Have of late had some very bad accidents and a loss of life was quite high, the Riyadh to Dammam bus that left the road the driver fell asleep, yes they do carry 2 drivers on every bus, while i accept the amount of road mileage covered per day by these moden bus fleet,is high and the ratio of accidents are rather small, but when you have do have an accident its always a bad one. However there maint teams are all from the sub continat. It is well know that these poor blokes work also some very long hours. I know one of the top men a local in Saptco, he tells me about some of the bad and i mean bad crashes there drivers/ buses do have One bus crashed earlier this year and all the poor folk on bus were killed many were badly burnt. Yes there buses look nice and new but the drivers and maint staff are all working some long hours for very little money and thanks. |
