Just looked up his career on IMDB.......... helps to explain why I've never heard of him.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0908094/?ref_=nv_sr_1

Anyway, condolences, etc.......

.... but I think Lewis Collins's death is more significant........... Bodie & Doyle anyone?

Reading this news, I think back to all the dangerously close calls I've had on the road. A betting man would have put money on me being expired loong ago.

Bit of a one trick pony though wasn't he, hardly front page news.

Still RIP to his friends, family and fans.

Ironic how he died really.

Bodie and Doyle in the Professionals, one of the better TV cops program to come out of the UK since The Sweeney. Sad how he went, struggling against cancer for 5 years must be incredibly difficult to all those concerned.

Into The Blue was pretty good.

Wasn't Fast & Furious 7 due to film in UAE?

Northernlad, yes it was and I will be most disappointed if they don't as I was planning on stalking Dwayne Johnson

Very sad news about Paul, what a horrific ending as well. May be RIP

Re: Lewis Collins - that James Bond audition comment in that Telegraph obit doesn't quite do him justice - he got down to a short-list of two, if I remember rightly, but the role went to the other bloke - Timothy Dalton. Collins would have been excellent I think.
