Default RIP David Leslie

Another great british motor racing driver killed in an air accident. Spent many a Saturday and Sunday watching him in the British Touring Car series. Luckily, no one killed on the ground. His Cessna Citation crashed into a house near Farnborough Kent killing all 5 on board.
Thoughts are with family and friends.

It was only a matter of time before this happened. I used to live close to Biggin Hill and saw a number of near misses involving private jets. Most of them flying too low. But this looks like mechanical faliure. Still in a bit of shock reading this. I was lucky enough to meet him at Brands years ago. Just had a mail from a current BTCC driver I know and he can't believe it either.

My thoughts are also with the Leslie and Lloyd families (he was also a champion driver) but not sure what helicopters have to do with it....
