Re: revolving doors...
they are not the most considerate. walk everywhere incredibly slowly and many will walk whilst texting paying no attention to where they are going. I make sure I knock into those ones and give then a nasty look when they look up

I'm not sure about the etiquette for automatic revolving doors but am pretty sure that pod sharing with strangers wouldn't be correct... (dah-link)...
The correct etiquette for manual revolving doors though is for the man to go first - thus taking the weight of the door so the lady can walk through in the next pod without having to push it herself... again - no pod sharing though.

The woman in fairnes weren't too bad, they usually acknowledge when you held a door open for them but the guys were tossers when it came to saying thanks or even nodding to acknowledge, they completely blank you. Got to the stage I let the door swing closed in their faces.

Such a complex question.

Fascinating. And what, then, if it is an electrically actuated door? How does one solve that social conundrum? Or, if it were raining fiercely, would it not be more chivalrous to allow the female shelter first? And if she has unshaven armpits, and is a suspected feiminista, would it then be more chivalrous to allow her through first, so as not to offend her sweet little ideology????
Such a complex question.
