All I know is that if the person is themselves and doesn't pretend to be anyone else (i.e. going out drinking, because hey, that's what every other expat does), then I'm probably going to like them.
My colleagues looked at me weirdly when I admitted I'd only been on one date since I broke up with my ex last September.
