Renewing car registration

Anyone know what the opening times are for the car registration place near the Gold n Diamond Park, can you just turn up or do you need an appointment?

I know that it opens around 8am and it was open at 3pm as I had my car registered then but not sure if it shuts for lunch or what time it finally closes, and no appointment required
