Refuge or shelter in Dubai

Hi all

We're leaving Dubai shortly, and have a load of decent (new or nearly-new) furniture, etc, from a 2-bedroomed flat to dispose of. We could sell it or ship it home, but we have no real use for it there - so, we thought, why not give it away to someone or somewhere who really needs it?

It occurred to us that there must be a refuge or shelter here (perhaps for, say, maids who have been abused, etc) who could use the stuff. It includes a new-ish telly (48" I think), plus some living room, bedroom and kitchen stuff.

If anyone can think of a good home for it to go to, please post a reply here and I'll either give you some contact details, or arrange for the stuff to be taken to the right place directly.

Many thanks............

I give all this stuff away to a mixture of the maid, building cleaner and security guard. Pretty much in that order.

They will sell and/or give your unwanted items to charities and lower income people.

N.

They don't, it's a commercial company that sells to the public from their warehouse.

Yes. They will also take everything (with few restrictions). Though they are a commercial company not a charity.
