Popular........... and growing by the day. Lots of stats to support the idea that mums and dads are taking their little angels (male and female) along to mini/junior sections at rugby clubs, rather than chavball............

I like both games but nothing comes close to football and nothing ever will and to be honest i don't see much difference between Rooney and Barton & Co compared to Tindall and Moody & Co .

All are overpaid , underworked and have underachieved , all no different than each other when pissed up in a bar . Some would love to take the moral high ground for rugby players but i'm afriad that's just a middle class myth .

Agree it's a myth - but the same attitudes are found right down to 'grass roots' level in chavball, but rugby is a class apart......

[I also enjoy both games, though, I must admit.........]

Shame that we lost our first league game on such a big day though :(

I'm a fan of both sports but enjoy the atmosphere at rugby more, before, during and after a game it's much more enjoyable, relaxed and friendly. Don't be completely fooled though, there are plenty of pricks at the rugby too.
