My gripe is the fact that I have been relocated but medically worse off as my medical costs have gone up since I arrived. I think some of you possibly expect a lot less as a relocated expatriate employee than me...

My company has reduced my benefits due to the need to "cut costs".

my lifestyle is a joke in this country already. How much more should I sacrifice to help the emirati's build their sandpit?

Just like the "trust us not to sack you and give you 3 months pay when you have quit your job back home, relocated, set up a house and paid 12 months rent!!!!. 12 months notice or forget it. "No 3 months is standard in the gulf". Jailing for typical dubai shadiness is optional though.

Ive since been told that the poor cover is nothing to worry about compared to chaos from all hours hospital visits and generally poor pain management after operations.

If that is part of the expat adventure then Ill stay couch potato thanks - life aint THAT bad here.
