I've been the adult in the middle of the back seat of a RAV4. We had one in SEAsia, and when monster in law visited, that's where I got relegated. It's really not comfortable after about 2 minutes, and very claustrophobic.

Exactly. We have struggled to get two kids and a 'full size' adult (not maid) in the fortuner. Car seats are massive.

I'd vote the Durango. I love that beast. Ugly as sin though.
