Dubai doesn't have a digital service. Your DAB radio will become a clock- just like mine.

Get an ipad, docking station and TuneIn radio.

I thought it was brilliant (in London anyway). I used to love a bit of GayDar FM (until the presenters spoke of course)

You don't need a VPN to listen to any BBC Radio station live and many shows have a 'listen again' option.

I used to use this in Dubai, an internet radio, tunes in via your wifi to thousands of stations around the world

its also a dab for when you head back to civilization
