Re: Quick question for those in construction.
Any plot of unused sand can be turned into a working car park for the amazing price of zilch, zippo, squat by simply driving upon said sand.
It is a little known fact about a grain of sand that it has an amazing ability to act in unison with other grains of sand and so on and so forth until it becomes a solid base unto which vehicles of many tonnage can be driven upon with very little trouble whatsoever.
* The above advice has not been approved for Dubai Municipality Building Permit Department submission purposes.

I know of a company (from Pakistan) who are brilliant at civil engineering, here is a small example of the high levels of professionalism they display for any and all projects:

Here's some info, from the UK in 2006 (prices won't have changed much since then - COPI has been relatively flat since the 2007 crash, but I'd add +20% weighting for the Middle East).

Re: Quick question for those in construction.
When the car park ends up being 3 basements, and 5 elevated floors, half with electric vehicle charging facilities, state of the art automatic barriers and charging systems and the contractor puts his bill in, the Client will say but you should have known that this was what was required. Your not getting any extra.
Show us your drawings then we give you an estimate..

you're all focusing on the surface: No one has asked it is covered or uncovered.
