we left before the gig finished and got a cab after 20 mins or so, but queue's were forming everywhere, people drunk and arguing, it was a right mess.

aye if you want to go to a gig and not drink (or get your missus to drive you and not drink), saying that the booze ran out at 9pm, so off they went in a ****in mini bus, stocked it up with lager and guess what? 45 minutes later they had ran out again, so I had 4 drinks all night AND the gig was sponsored by A&E,

ridiculous.

CSM, the organisers, of Desert Rhythm are a total shower. They are claiming that they didn't run out of booze until 10.00pm and have barely apologised. The sound for Paul Weller was appalling. The engineer should be shot. They claim to have liaised with RTA regarding provision of cabs, but the wait was apparently an hour long and RTA cannot confirm any request.

I walked from the venue to the Intercon, took about 5 minutes. Mind you by then we were desperate for a drink!
