rumour i heard is that they have been advised to sell it to raise cash as they have asolutely no liquidity, may have to take a very big hit in the price on it as well

As previously mentioned.......I would not be surprised if the QE2 "sprang a leak" and was then marketed as the worlds most expensive/biggest dive site.

Either that, or Nakheel are going to spend hundreds of millions on the 2 year refurbishment at Port Rashid. Not only paying for 2 years worth of dry dock, but also the GDP of a small country in converting it to a luxury hotel...........yeah.......right
