QE II red funnel vs Sammy The Whaleshark...
I am having a dilemma...Both are very very extremely contentious issues these days for the Dubai populace at large...
People want to keep the red funnel, and others want Atlantis to release Sammy...
If I had my way, I would take the red funnel off the QEII and give it to Atlantis so that they show it off, and, take Sammy the whaleshark and put it as an attraction on the QE II...
But alas...I lost my billion in the stock market...
My next crowning moment will be when the Powers of Be get the Statue of Liberty and erect it on Nasser Square smack-dab in Nasser Square, the old-new downtown of Deira...

you know what? Mr Kitty and I were talking about the Statue of Liberty as a tourist attraction here in Dubai just this afternoon. We propose removing its head and using that as the main entrance... just carve a door-way into the mouth area. Nice? I'm sure I can find an investor.
