Default Qatar plans for Dream Football League

Could be interesting!

"Four English clubs will reportedly be offered £175 million each to play in a 24-team 'Dream Football League' in Qatar and other Gulf countries in 2015. "

Madness. Until they learn how to make a pitch a constant 35°c when everything around them is 50°c it is not going to happen.

Evening KO (+/- 9pm) would be around 35°c in July though?

The near 100% humidity would be a bast*** though. Another nothing article to keep the region in the football 'news'.

Where does that say anything about it being a spoof? It questions the budget of 2b EUR p/year p/club for the 16 permanent clubs, but I don't think it mentions that it's a joke?

By that time they'll probably own most of the clubs they plan to invite......a way to get round Financial Fair Play rules by giving them 'prize money'?

Telegraph updated their story to suggest it is a hoax.

Still, any publicity is better than no publicity.
