Don't do it............ you'll lose the plot of threads etc........ also, other posters won't know what you haven't read or don't know........ confusion will reign..... your world will fall apart.......
In a similar vein: Never put your mobile phone on "Silent" (the caller can still hear a ringing tone, and wonders why you are ignoring him.........).
