Pubs / Bars showing the 6 nations rugby
 

Hi All,

Off to Dubai for business tomorrow night for 6 day trip and don't want to miss the rugby over the weekend.
If possible can someone direct me to a bar that will be showing the games.
Staying in a hotel at the entrance to the Palm.
Would really appreciate some direction on this one......hopefully somewhere that sells Guinness!!

I used to go here ( in the old town under Burj Khalifa ) with Kiwis to watch rugby, nice place

there'll be something closer but I don't know that end of town too well

it's not the best for watching sport - I know nowt about rugby, there'll be a southerner with a turned up collar along in a minute to advise you - there's plenty bars nearer to your hotel ;)

McGettigans (there are 2 - the JLT one is better for where you will be staying) will show the rugby for sure - Irish bar with outdoor area only 5 mins by taxi from where you are.

Barasti is almost a walk from where you mention - virtually sure to show the match on a massive (like 6x4m outdoor) screen plus loads of LCD screens inside.

IV and Dubliners good places but a bit far

Nessassie (or whatever it's called) is really good but a bit far-ish

The Underground at Habtoor Grand just a couple mins up the road will have the game on and a happy hour...

Or Bidi Bondi on the palm...generally good atmosphere for rugby.
