'Ull is lovely..Civic pride you will not find like this in most places in England either. And not many places in England you could get a large victorian townhouse on a lovely avenue for £20 000 just some ten years ago.

Mother in law is origianlly from Cleethorpes..another contender in this category.

I love this video. Shows all what is wrong with Britain and what is so great about it. Why he feels the need to do it and his counter arguments are fantastic.

Ok so maybe my memory is skewed by too many winters stood on building sites on the docks freezing my nuts off..

I shall have to cast my vote for Immingham instead.

Also..lets not forget their slogan..'the pioneering city'...home of the white phone boxes and the test bed of high tech stuff like cable tv, internets, etc, etc..Oh, and Throbbing Grisstle formed there. It's Never Dull in 'Ull!

but yes..it is actually a bit grim..very grim actually..but it's an underdog, and I like underdogs. :o
