Public Beaches
Are there any nice public beaches in Dubai, the one near me in Jumeriah is very busy with Kite Surfers which is amazing to see but not very relaxing. Are there any remote beaches that are slightly further afield ?

I'll give it a go, b ut if friends come over & visit what beaches do you take them to ? Even if not with friends surely you must be able to go for drive & think ' thats a nice beach, its not packed i fancy stoping & sitting there for a bit ' Is that a possibility ????

I always go to Jumeirah Beach park...I'm not a peace and quiet type when it comes to beaches...
