A professional question...
Is it alright if I ask my clients and suppliers if they want to be added on my Facebook Friends list??? And if so, is it also ok if I ask prospective clients if they want to be added??? I feel that it may establish rapport and break the ice...

I'm in agreement to MM as facebook seems more a leisure activity, rather than professional activity use and a client may feel that you are unprofessional in your working practice.

Well, I do have a few "professional" friends in my fb list, as well as some of my students.... You can always adjust your privacy settings to control who gets to see what. In general, i think it's best to maintain a fairly "vanilla" flavored page. So don't any of you start writing smut on my wall!!!!! |
