Prison Dads / The Lock Up - BBC iplayer
Watching these begs the question why isn't pregnancy / ability to reproduce means tested?

Eugenics is not a new idea. It sort of went out of fashion after 1945.

Q: "Michael, how old is your son, Rhys?"
A: "Aw. I always forget this man" Only grade A he'll ever get. Problem it's a grade A in being a pondlife scumbag. |

It also never had anything to do with being means tested. |

The argument is that those on welfare are clearly not fit to be parents. I did not say that the Nazis invented Eugenics. I said it went out of fashion after 1945.
Had a bad day, duckie ? |

Had a bad day, duckie ? And re those on welfare not being fit to be parents - that's not what I said either. Face the fact though, applying even the basic principles of Darwin's theory of evolution - the children of the scumbags in these 2 programmes would die if somebody else weren't a) paying for them (i.e. feeding them); b) taking care of them (i.e. sheltering them and keeping them warm); and c) tending to them (i.e. watering them). Or perhaps you're advocating it's ok for the rest of society to leave these kids to fend for themselves then? How does that sit with your Eugenics argument, duckie? |

We should start building labour camps immediately. "Work shall make you free !"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carrie_Buck is a warning about what can come about as a result of Eugenics - not on the Third Reich bit in the "Land of the Free" |
Re: Prison Dads / The Lock Up - BBC iplayer
there was one lad who really seems to have sorted himself out,the one who was let out on day licence, let's hope he has learnt his lesson. The rest of them, well we can't control it can we?

Felt sorry for him the most - he was paying a very dear price for fvcking up. His (fit) bird didn't seem that bothered to be honest... But then who could blame her? They'll last together one minute when she goes to Uni... Hey ho.
